A little bit of play...

Over the past few weeks I've gained ALOT of spare time, so I decided to go out and experiment with some different photography techniques. Pretty little things I hadn't tried before.

I've spent so long doing photography as my job, mainly portraits and weddings, and although I absolutely adore what I do, it's been a bumpy old ride and I began to forget what it was about photography that I fell in love with in the first place.

Meet the cats

So we never really liked cats before, so I'm unsure why when a friend asked me if I'd like to buy a kitten I said yes. Actually, it was Christmas time and I think I was high on festive spirit, but anyway here we are nearly 3 years later and two cats. Olive was our first cat, I was actually surprised that, at the tender age of 6 weeks, she didn't tear my face off (my assumption of a cats behaviour before Olive)

The start of the ramblings...

Welcome to my blog!! Since I left university 3 years ago a lot has happened in my life...I moved to a new city, bagged my dream job, found out my dream job was more like a nightmare, I set up my own business, closed the business to follow a better opportunity, made some friends, lost some friends, I've loved, laughed and cried. Oh and possibly the most exciting part of all of this, the love of my life asked me to marry him...the wedding is creeping up and well... I decided that I needed a place to write down all my little thoughts, post photos (lots of the cats) and share my crafty projects.
